The referees covered the physical tests at Euro under 17 finals in Sliven


The UEFA referees who were appointed for the UEFA Euro Under-17 Championships covered the physical tests at the stadium in Sliven on Sunday. The matches will be played in Stara Zagora, Burgas, Sozopol and Sliven from 6 to 22 May The list includes 9 referees, 12 assistants and four Bulgarians, who will be used as the fourth referee. Georgi Kabakov, Ivaylo Stoyanov, Nikola Popov and Tsvetan Krastev had no problems with the physical test, but it prooved to be impossible for Mete Kalkavan fromTurkey. He will be replaced by Romanian Marius Avram, who was in the reserves for Euro finals. During the UEFA Euro Under-17 Championship all referees will be accommodated in hotel "Sports Palace" in Sliven and will travel to matches.
Stefan Ormandjhiev is the Bulgarian representative among referee observers. The others are members of the UEFA Referees Committee: Mark Bata (France), Jozef Marko (Slovakia) and Uno Tutk from Estonia.
